Christian Life And Service Seminars (CLASS) are offered throughout the year as opportunities for information, growth, and service.
The 100 level class is an opportunity to re-commit ones life to Christ and to make a membership commitment.
The 200 level classes are an opportunity for spiritual growth.
The 300 level classes equip our membership with the skills needed for ministry.
The 400 level classes enlist our membership for the mission of Jesus Christ.
CLASS 101: HOW DO YOU SPELL PRESBYTERIAN? This is an opportunity to discover the life our First Presbyterian Church and make a decision concerning membership.
CLASS 201: EXPERIENCING GOD is an 11 week study on seeking God's will for one's life.
CLASS 202: BASIC CHRISTIAN BELIEFS ~ The Alpha Study is a 16 week study to the basic doctrines of the Christian Church. This is offered at least once a year.
CLASS 203: SURVEY of the OLD TESTAMENT is an 8 week study.
CLASS 204: SURVEY of the NEW TESTAMENT is an 8 week study.
CLASS 205: THE GOSPEL OF JOHN is a 4 week study.
CLASS 206: DISCIPLESHIP BIBLE STUDY is a 32 week over view of the Old and New Testament. This is offered at least once a year.
CLASS 207: BETH MOORE STUDIES are available to small groups.
CLASS 208: BASIC PRESBYTERIAN BELIEFS is a 3 hour seminar that is offered at least once a year.
CLASS 209: BEGINNING A LIFE OF PRAYER is an one and half hour seminar that is offered at least once a year.
CLASS 210: CULTS, OCCULT, AND PSEUDO-CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS is a short seminar offered at least once a year.
CLASS 211: HOW CAN I SHARE MY FAITH is a 2 hour seminar offered at least once a year.
CLASS 212: TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY or THE POWER OF A PRAYING PARENT series will be our 40 day Lenten emphasis.
CLASS 301: THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE is a 40 day study that is offered periodically.
CLASS 302: LIFE GROUP LEADERSHIP SEMINAR is offered once a year for those who would like to start a new small group.
CLASS 310: OVERVIEW OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS is an introduction to the ministry gifts of the Holy spirit.
CLASS 410: LAY PASTORS SCHOOL is a two year in depth theological, Biblical, and leadership seminar. It is offered on alternate years by the Presbytery of Wabash Valley as well as the Synod of Lincoln Trails.
